Stylist Levels and Classification

Artistic
Level 2 Stylist

Are Licensed Stylists who are either new to Divine Destiny Salon with experience or they have joined Divine Destiny Salon early in their career and have chosen to grow their craft within our team. They are competent in one or more of the following areas; foundational cutting, styling, weaving, braiding, and coloring services, and they often collaborate with our Senior/Master Stylists for more advanced services. Level 2 Stylists have a minimum of 1 year of experience, and are working to build their confidence as they sharpen their skills and evolve in their craft. Level 2 stylists are still growing their clientele individually and with assistance from Divine Destiny Salon. Booking your service with a Level 2 Stylist is a great option for those who seek a more cost-effective price point than booking with a Senior or Master Level Stylist. Level 2 stylists are classified employees.

Exquisite
Level 3 Stylist

Are Licensed Stylists that have accumulated a minimum of 3 years of experience, education, and skill from both behind the chair, as well as through top continuing education. They are well-equipped to handle the many intricacies of customized cutting, styling, braiding, weaving, and coloring services. They are also skilled in advanced services, ex; extensive color projects and color corrections. At this stage, Level 3 Stylists begin to take part in mentoring our Level 1 Stylists. Level 3 stylists are committed to growing their clientele individually and with minimal assistance from Divine Destiny Salon.

Mastermind
Level 4 Stylist

Level 4 Seasoned Stylists are masters of their craft. They are established, respected, and carry a reputation for excellence that has earned them this title. With years, sometimes decades of experience , advanced education, and the highest demand for their services, there isn’t much a Level 4 Stylist hasn’t handled in his or her craft. They are leaders in the organization and experienced mentors who pay their knowledge forward to the future generation of up-and-coming talent! *** Both Level 3 & 4 stylists have commissioned-based salaries or have Booth Rental options. Stylist

How do Independent Stylist rentals in a Salon Work? Chair/ Suite rental (also sometimes called booth rental) is a lot like a tenant/landlord kind of relationship. The stylist is the tenant, who is renting the chair or booth from the salon owner, who is the landlord.
